Police say the car was heading eastbound on the interstate in East Fishkill on Monday, Dec. 30 when it went off the roadway into the center median and caught fire.

They say the 41-year-old driver was apparently going at an unsafe speed in icy conditions.

The Southeast woman was taken to Danbury Hospital with minor injuries.
